James A. Britt

  James A. Britt of Pleasant Hill, died Friday, Aug. 14, at 4
p.m., at the Pleasant Hill General Hospital. He was 81.

  Funeral services were held at the Progress Presbyterian Church,
Sunday, Aug. 16, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Jerry Lawson officiated.
Interment was at Springridge Cemetery.

  Mr. Britt is survived by a son, James Durwood Britt, and a
daughter, Mrs. Marvis Murray, both of Baton Rouge; a sister, Mrs.
Nettie Gates of Pleasant Hill; six grandchildren; and five great
grandchildren.
