Bobby Shelton Bird

  Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Shelton Bird of Shreveport, were
held in the Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel in Many, on
Friday, Nov. 25, at 10 a.m. Bro. Mac Brister officiated.
Interment followed at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

  Mr. Bird, who was 60, died Tuesday, Nov. 22, in the V. A.
Hospital in Shreveport, at 2:54 a.m.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maxine Bird of Shreveport; two
sons, Phillip Bird, Tyler, Tex., and Shelton Bird, Shreveport;
one daughter, Mrs. Sheryl Smith, New Orleans; five brothers, Ted
Bird, Lafayette, Rudolph Bird, Shreveport, DeVaughn Bird, Merritt
Island, Fla., Frank Bird, Lafayette, and Todd Bird, Dallas, Tex.;
one sister, Mrs. Peggy Strother, Shreveport; and his mother, Mrs.
Gladys Bird, Lafayette.

  Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Warren
Meadows Funeral Home in Many.
