Ollie J. Britt, Sr.

  Services for Mr. Ollie Joseph Britt, Sr., 38, of Pleasant Hill,
Louisiana, were held at 11 a.m., at the Progress Cumberland
Presbyterian Church near Pleasant Hill, with the Rev. Gayle Dean,
and the Rev. Robert Bozeman officiating. Burial was in the Spring
Ridge Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home in
Mansfield.

  Mr. Britt died Thursday, June 18, 1987, at LSU Medical Center in
Shreveport, La., after a brief illness.

  Mr. Britt was a lifelong resident of Pleasant Hill, and was an
oilfield worker.

  Survivors include one son, Ollie Joseph Britt Jr.; one daughter,
Jennifer Renee' Britt; his mother, Mrs. Jennie Lee Rains Britt of
Mansfield; five brothers, Dallas R. Britt of Pleasant Hill, Perry
L. Britt of Mansfield, Raleigh H. Britt of Marthaville, Muriel M.
Britt of Many, and Elmer V. Britt of Gloster; one sister, Theresa
Dyess of Shreveport.
