Mrs. Alma Byrd

  12 Oct 1945 - Funeral rites for Mrs. Alma Byrd, age 34 years, of
Beaumont Texas were conducted at Antioch Baptist church Thursday,
Oct. 4, with Rev. Bickers of Beaumont, Texas officiating.
Interment was in Antioch cemetery under direction Massingill
funeral home.

  Surviving are: husband, A. A. Byrd, Beaumont, Texas; daughter,
Miss Carmen; parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Hopkins, Florien;
sisters, Mrs. Jimmy DeBose, Many, Mrs. Wayne Brown, Florien, Mrs.
Thurmon Duggan, Norfolk, Va.; brother Howard Hopkins of
Shreveport.
