Mrs. Mary Agnes Byrd

  Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Agnes Byrd, 72, were held at 2
p.m., Sunday, September 1, at First Methodist Church in Many.
Interment followed in the Many Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. John Koelemay officiated.

  Mrs. Byrd died Friday, September 14, at Sabine Medical Center in
Many.

  She is survived by three sons, Dr. Charles L. Byrd of Coral
Gables, Florida, John M. Byrd of Many, and Paul W. Byrd of
Shreveport; mother, Martha Abington of Many; two sisters, Edith
Middleton of Baton Rouge, and Bobbie Kratz of Many; three
grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of nieces and
nephews.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. C. B. Byrd; two
sons, Richard D., and Francis R. Byrd.
