  Sarah "Zoe" Frederic Braud

  Mrs. Sarah "Zoe" Frederic Braud died at 11:45 p.m. Sunday, Oct.
2, 1988 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was
88, a native and resident of St. Amant.

  Religious services were held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St.
Amant, 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by Father Tom Ranzino. Burial
in Holy Rosary Cemetery.

  She was survived by a daughter, Mrs. S. H. (Nita) Jefferson,
Metairie; four sons; Davis J. Braud, Florien, Louis D. Braud,
Baton Rouge, Anthony M. Braud and John D. Braud, both of St.
Amant; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Dolphy Braud; parents,
Amedee and Sarah Barton Frederic; four brothers, five sisters,
two grandsons and a granddaughter. She was a member of Holy
Rosary Catholic Church, St. Amant, and VFW Ladies Auxiliary Unit
3693, Gonzales.
