Gracie Mae Clower Byrd

  Funeral services were held for Gracie Mae Clower Byrd, 91, on
April 18, 1996, at Warren Meadows Chapel. Interment followed at
Central Cemetery, with Rev. Don McCormick, and Rev. Jerry Arthur
officiating.

  Mrs. Byrd was born on November 3, 1904, in Robeline, to Johnny
and Myrtis Hendrix Clower. She passed away Tuesday, April 16,
1996, at Schumpert Medical Hospital in Shreveport.

  She is survived by one daughter, Linda Lou Byrd of Shreveport;
one sister, Bessie Clower of Robeline; several nieces and
nephews; and a host of friends.
