Julian C. Byrd

  Graveside services for Julian C. Byrd, 92, of Many, were held at
10 a.m., on March 20, 1997, at Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  The Rev. H. H. Tibbits officiated.

  Mr. Byrd died March 15, 1997.

  He is survived by his wife, Aline Byrd of Many; one sister, Mae
Horton Byrd of Shreveport; two grandchildren, Stephanie Byrd of
Bossier, and Shannon Luttgeharm of Wichita, Kansas; two great
grandchildren, Kyle Luttgeharm, and Todd Luttgeharm, both of
Wichita, Kansas; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Willie Bell, James Murphy, John Byrd, Tim
Lyddy, and E. R. Maines.
