Mr. J. F. Byrd

  Funeral services for John Fletcher Byrd, 92, of Many, were held
at the Warren Funeral Home, Sunday, at 2 p.m.

  Mr. Byrd died Friday at 6:20 p.m., after a brief illness. He was
a lifelong resident of Sabine Parish, and a member of Little
Flock Baptist Church.

  He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. F. J. Stroud, and Mrs.
Ellen Satcher, Many, La., and Mrs. Otis (Nezzie) Perkins of
Shreveport; a sister, Mrs. Susan Bass, Hornbeck, La.; two
brothers, Joe, and Pony Byrd, both of Toro; four grandchildren;
seven great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren;
and a host of nieces and nephews.
