S. J. Britt

  Funeral services for S. J. Britt, age 60, who died at Zwolle,
July 3, were conducted at Progress Church near Pleasant Hill, at
10 a.m., July 5, with the Rev. Mrs. Ada Bonds officiating.
Interment was in the church cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. S. J. Britt of Pleasant Hill; sons,
Ruel D., Perry, Rollie, Ollie, Merel, and Elmer Britt, all of
Pleasant Hill; daughter, Miss Alpha Teresa Britt, Pleasant Hill;
brothers, Alford Britt of Pleasant Hill, O. J. Britt of
Abbeville, J. Britt of Baton Rouge; sisters, Mrs. E. B. Sistrunk
of Lake Charles, Mrs. Alma Thompson of Beaumont, Mrs. W. D. Gates
of Pleasant Hill.

  Pallbearers were nephews and honorable Pleasant Hill church
elders.
