Mr. A.G. Bridges

Mr. A.G. Bridges, 81, died Saturday, Sept. 11, at his residence in
Florien.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 13 at Warren Meadows
Funeral Home with interment at Florien Cemetery. Rev. Glen Flenniken,
Rev. Roger Matkin, Rev. Roy Thompson and Rev. Larry DeLoach officiated.

Survivors include his wife, Melvie Cobb Bridges of Florien; four
daughters, Sandra Beckman, and Beverly Bowling, both of Texarkana,
Texas, Freda Burke of Vidor, Texas and Connie Minter of Hooks, Texas;
four sons, Jerry Bridges and Dwayne Bridges of Florien, Donald Bridges
of Many and Winston Bridges of Provencal; three sisters. Jewel Lopez
of Stonewall, Jessie Love of Omaha, Neb. and Hattie Montgomery of
Denton, Texas; 30 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and a host of
nieces and nephews and friends.
