Patrick Evans Bridges

  Patrick Evans Bridges, 89, of Converse, died Saturday, March 10,
in a local hospital, after a brief illness.

  Funeral services were held Sunday, March 11, at 11 a.m., in the
Converse Baptist Church, with the Rev. Sid Young, and the Rev.
Roach officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery near
Converse, under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home of
Mansfield.

  Survivors include his widow, Rena Bridges; one daughter, Mary
Stoffieri of Lake Jackson, Tex.; one stepson, W. H. Pennington of
Portland, Ore.; three grandchildren; and eight great
grandchildren.
