Bridges 11 Aug 1961 - Funeral services for Mrs. H. H. Bridges were held at 10 a.m. Monday in the First Baptist church here in Pleasant Hill, with Rev. Cecil Salley, the Rev. Milton Prothro and the Rev. Hayes Prothro officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill cemetery under the direction of the Warren Funeral home of Many. Mrs. Bridges died Friday in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Carsen Jackson of Houma and Mrs. Nell Galles of Kenner, La.; six sons, Johnny Bridges of Pleasant Hill, Kenny and Jack Bridges of Bossier City, Sam Bridges of Houma, and Dale and Charles Bridges of the U. S. army; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Strahan of Belmont and Mrs. Elvie Collins of Pleasant Hill, and several grandchildren. Dale Bridges flew in from Germany for the funeral of his mother.
