Miss Mirian Geraldine Bridges

  Services for Miss Mirian Geraldine Bridges, 66, of Shreveport,
were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, at the Rose-Neath Funeral
Home Chapel in Mansfield. Dr. William Crosby, and the Rev. Alfred
Mitchell officiated. Burial was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery at
Pleasant Hill.

  Mirian Geraldine Bridges died at the Guest House Nursing Home in
Shreveport, Sunday night, July 5, 1987, following an extended
illness. Miss Bridges was a member of the Summer Grove Baptist
Church, and the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

  She is survived by her father, John Bridges of Mansfield; five
aunts, Mary M. Robinson, Mrs. C. R. Anderson, and Mrs. J. W.
Stohrer of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Otis E. Bridges, and Mrs. Vernie
Martin of Bastrop; two uncles, Ruben L. Bridges of Gulfport,
Miss., and Lemuel L. Bridges of Pleasant Hill; and numerous
nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Marshall A. Calhoun, Riemer Calhoun Sr., Ruben
Williams, Phillip Rust, Luther Dixon, Raymond E. Powel, and T. W.
"Buddy" Troegel.

  Honorary pallbearers were all members of the Baraca Sunday
School Class, and all members of Mansfield Lodge No. 250 F & AM.
