  Hebert Dale Bridges - January 7, 1988

  Graveside services for Mr. Herbert Dale Bridges, 52, of Panola,
Texas, were held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 3, in Mt. Zion
Cemetery under the direction of Jimerson Funeral Home of
Carthage. The Rev. Dan Scott officiated.

  Mr. Bridges died Friday evening. Jan. 1, 1988 in Shreveport
following a lengthy illness.

  Mr. Bridges was born April 28, 1935 in Pleasant Hill, La. He was
the son of Herbert Henry and Hattie Lacy Bridges. He was retired
from the U. S. Air Force and was a member of the First Baptist
Church of Pleasant Hill.

  Survivors include one son, Robert Dale Bridges of Everett, Wash;
one daughter, Mary Nell Hatch of Seattle, Wash.; five brothers,
Jack Bridges of Bossier City, Sam Bridges of Saraland, Ala.,
Charlie Bridges of Keithville, Johnnie Bridges of Robeline, Kenny
Bridges of Winnsboro; one sister, Nell Galles of Panola; and one
granddaughter, Sabrina Bridges of Everett, Wash.
