  Sarah Beatrice Stringer Bridges - June 2, 1988

  Mrs. Sarah Beatrice Stringer Bridges, 85, died at Byrd Memorial
Hospital in Leesville, La. on May 30, 1988.

  Services were held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at 3 p.m. on
June 1, 1988 with Rev. Bobby McCullough. Dr. Harvey Hoffman and
Rev. Roy Dowden officiating. Burial was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include five sons, Curtis Bridges of New Orleans, Oden
Bridges of New Orleans, Edward Bridges of Leesville, Ivy Bridges
and Clifton Bridges, both of Hornbeck; two daughters, Orelee
Patton of Leesville. Fern Burleson of Hornbeck; two brothers,
Lois Stringer of Jasper, Tx. and Hoyt Stringer of Wiergate, Tx.
two sisters, Edna Robinson of Jasper, Tx. and Eula Mae Lane of
Jasper, Tx., 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and many
nieces and nephews and friends.

  Pallbearers include John Bridges, Lloyd Burleson, Everett
Bridges, Gary Patton, Albert Bridges and Jeff Petiette.
