Burial was at Lambertown Cemetery in Robeline, with the Rev. Mark Megason officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis. Mr. Bridges died Saturday, at the Sabine Medical Center in Many. Mr. Bridges was a native of Pleasant Hill, and was a retired oil field worker. He was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Robbie Geneva Bridges of Many; sons, Steve Bridges, and Tracy Bridges of Pleasant Hill, Daniel Bridges of Florida, James Doolittle, and Joel Huff of Provencal; two daughters, Fay Megason of Robeline, and Stacey Cockren of Pasadena, Tex.; one sister, Nell Galles of DeBerry, Tex.; four brothers, Jack Bridges of Bossier City, Sam Bridges of Saraland, Ala., Charlie Bridges of Shreveport, and Kenneth Bridges of West Monroe; 13 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
