Kernis J. Bordelon

  Kernis Joseph Bordelon, 66, of Catahoula, died Monday, March 25,
at 9:30 a.m., in St. Martin Infirmary at St. Martinville.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Felicia Oliver Bordelon of
Catahoula; a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Borel of Catahoula; a
brother, I. A. Bordelon of Bunkie; five sisters, Mrs. E. E.
Burnum of Zwolle, Mrs. Amy Tarver of Dallas, Tex., Mrs. A. C.
Crown of Port Arthur, Tex., Mrs. C. F. Till of New Orleans, and
Mrs. Maxine Thurman of Freeport, Tex., and three grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at 3 p.m, Thursday, March 28, in St.
Rita Cathoic Church. Burial was in the church cemetery, under
direction of Pellerin Funeral Home, St. Martinville.
