Harold D. Birdwell Sr.

  Harold Don Birdwell Sr., 41, of Marthaville, died Tuesday
morning, April 1, in a Natchitoches hospital, after a long
illness.

  Services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 3, in Jennings
Chapel Congregational Methodist Church, with the Rev. Donald
Doggett officiating. Burial will be in McCaskill Cemetery near
Marthaville.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Jimmye K. Birdwell of
Marthaville; one son, Harold Don Birdwell Jr. of Marthaville; his
mother, Mrs. Lottie Birdwell of Marthaville; eight brothers,
Luther Birdwell, Hoyt Birdwell, Raymond Birdwell, Harvey
Birdwell, Herman Birdwell, Vernon Birdwell, and Wilmer Birdwell,
all of Marthaville, and Odell Birdwell of Shreveport.
