Lottie Birdwell

  Funeral services were held for Mrs. Lottie Birdwell, 97, of
Marthaville, at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 21, 1995, at Jennings
Chapel in Marthaville, La., with interment following in the
McCaskill Cemetery in Marthaville, under the direction of
Blanchard-St. Denis.

  Rev. Kenny Martin, and Rev. Marvin Free officiated the services.

  Mrs. Birdwell passed away at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, March 19, 1995,
at the Natchitoches Hospital long term care.

  She was a native of St. Augustine, Texas, and a resident of
Marthaville, La. She was a housewife, and a member of Jennings
Chapel Congregational Methodist Church in Marthaville.

  Survivors include four sons, Hoyt L. Birdwell, Raymond D.
Birdwell, Herman Birdwell, and Vernon Birdwell, all of
Marthaville, La.; 36 grandchildren; 70 great grandchildren; and
36 great-great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were her grandchildren.
