Mr. Edgar Dale Bridwell

  Mr. Edgar Dale Bridwell, 74, of Many, died Aug. 2, 1999, at his
residence near Toledo Town, after a lengthy illness.

  Mr. Bridwell was a retired heavy equipment operator.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 3, at Beulah
Baptist Church in Many, with interment following at Beulah
Cemetery. The Rev. Kenneth Leach, pastor of Beulah Baptist
Church, officiated.

  Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Mrs. Sylvia
Bridwell of Many; five daughters, Janie Armstrong of Many, Brenda
Hardy, and Grace Foster, both of Florien, Christine Williams of
Stonewall, and Ethel Chapman of Houston, Texas; 12 grandchildren;
seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and
many friends. Mr. Bridwell was preceded in death by his son,
Roger Dale Bridwell.

  Pallbearers were Alan Armstrong, Terry Foster, Bernice Hardy,
Tracy Williams, Dale Hardy, and John Hardy.
