James W. Brittain

  Funeral services for James Weaver Brittain, 76, of Center, Tex. were held
at 2 p.m. Sunday, in the Margum Chapel, with Dr. J. Carroll Chadwick
officiating. Burial was in the Fulsom Chapel Cemetery in Center.

  Mr. Brittain died Friday afternoon, Jan 22, in a fire that destroyed his
home, about five miles from Center. He was a lifelong resident of Shelby
County, and a farmer.

  Among the survivors was a sister, Mrs. Martha McDonald, of Converse.
