Amos Floyd Barton

  Amos Floyd Barton, 83, of Noble, died Sunday, Dec. 28, at 6
p.m., after a sudden illness.

  Barton is survived by his widow, Mrs. Bessie Barton; two sons,
William Thomas Barton of Lafayette, and Arnold E. Barton of
Pasadena, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Margie Boyd of Beaumont,
Tex., and Mrs. Vivian Gray of Lodi, Ohio; one brother, Robert
Barton of Jasper, Tex.; and three sisters, Mrs. Rhoda Thames of
Spokane, Wash., Mrs. Pearl Partin of Sanford, Fla., and Mrs. Vera
Rivers of Zwolle; ten grandchildren, and five great
grandchildren.

  Graveside services were conducted at the Shady Grove Cemetery,
Wednesday, Dec. 31, at 10 a.m. The Rev. Jerry Schmucker
officiated. Burial was under the direction of the Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.
