William H. Barton

  William H. Barton, 55, of Lafayette, died Tuesday, June 12, at
3:30 p.m., at the General Hospital in Lafayette, following a
short illness.

  Funeral services were held on Friday, June 15, in the Shady
Grove Cemetery at 10 a.m.

  Survivors include three daughters, Clara Bell Barton of Houston,
Tex., Wanda Faye Barton, and Debbie Barton, both of Lafayette;
one brother, Arnold Barton of Pasadena, Tex.; two sisters, Vivian
Gray of Lodi, Ohio, and Margie Boyd of Vidor, Tex.; her mother,
Bessie Barton of Noble; and one grandchild.
