Leonard Earl Barton

  Leonard Earl Barton of Pleasant Hill, died at his residence, at
9 p.m., on Friday, March 12, He was 63.

  Funeral services were held at the Spring Ridge Baptist Church on
Sunday, March 14, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. J. P. King, and the
Rev. Foster Jennings officiating. Burial was in the Beulah
Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Barton is survived by his widow, Mrs. Julie Barton of
Pleasant Hill; two sons, Gene W. Barton of Jenerette, and Roy
Barton of Lake Jackson, Tex.; two daughters, Annette Withers of
Bossier City, and Carolyn Brown of Vivian; seven grandchildren;
and four great grandchildren.
