Bardin, 51, of Lytle, Texas, were held Feb. 4, in the Chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Interment was at Providence Memorial Cemetery, with the Rev. Andy Addison officiating. He was retired from the Air Force, and was a member of Somerset Masonic Lodge No. 1205, in Somerset, Texas. He died on Jan. 31, 1987, following a lengthy illness. Military rites and Masonic rites were held at the graveside. Survivors include his wife, Helen M. Bardin, Lytle, Texas; one son, Jimmy Lee Bardin, San Antonio, Texas; one daughter, Donna Menchaca, Bryan, Texas; his mother, Leslie Bardin, Winnsboro; two brothers, Charles Bardin, Many, and Junior Malone, Carrolton, Ga.; three grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Gerald Wollerson, Garvin Wright, Larry Crum, Eugene Parker, George Johnson, and Sonny Stephens.
