Bardin, 72, of Winnsboro, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 5, in the Chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Interment was in Providence Memorial Cemetery, Winnsboro, with the Rev. Rogers Young, and the Rev. Joe Aulds officiating. She was a housewife. She was born Sept. 18, 1914. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She died on May 3, 1987, following a lengthy illness. Survivors include one son, Charles Bardin, Many; two daughters-in-law, Aberzine Bardin, Winnsboro, and Joan Bardin, Lytle, Texas; one foster son, Junior Malone, Carrolton, Ga.; one sister, Elaine Smith, DeValls Bluff, Ark.; one brother, Travis Mitchan, Richardson, Texas; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were William Boutwell, Randall Gandy, Larry Crum, A. L. Garner, George Johnson, Gerald Wolleson, James Marvin Fletcher, and James Ray Whitney.
