  Vernon Gail Borden - April 28, 1988

  Mr. Vernon Gail Borden, 56, of Buna, Tx. died at the V.A.
Medical Center in Shreveport, La. on April 24, 1988.

  Services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on April 27 at
11 a.m. with Father Earl Provenza officiating. Burial was at St.
Joseph Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  He is survived by his wife, Jane Procell Borden of Buna, Tx.;
three sons and daughters-in-law, Joel Allen and Judy Borden of
Keisler Air Force Base, James Vernon and Laura Borden of Evadale,
Tx., Dennis Paul Borden of Kirbyville, Tx.; three daughters and
sons-in-law, Ruby J. and Mark Nelson of Kansas City, Mo., Kathy
and Chooch LaRoux of Converse, Gail and Mitchell Hull of Azle,
Tx; one brother, Billy Borden of Noark, Conn.; one sister, Edna
Wilson of Gadsden, Alabama; eleven grandchildren, mother-in-law,
Louvinia Procell of Fisher; and a host of nieces and nephews.
