Mrs. Mary Ethel Burton

  Funeral services were held on Feb. 25, 1994, at 10 a.m., for
Mrs. Mary Ethel Burton, 83, at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel
in Many, with burial following in Zwolle Cemetery, and Rev.
Richard Warmack officiating.

  Mrs. Burton passed away on Feb. 23, 1994, at North Sabine
Nursing Home in Pleasant Hill.

  She is survived by her husband, Homer Burton of Pleasant Hill,
La.; one son, James McComic of Zwolle, La.; two daughters, Hazel
McAndrew of Baton Rouge, La., and Virginia Curtis of Minden, La.;
one sister, Willie Smith of Pleasant Hill, La.; 3 half sisters;
two half brothers; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and
a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her
late husband, Melton Joel McComic; and a daughter, Pearl Young.
