Mrs. Nettie Lee Berel

  Mrs. Nettie Lee Berel, 77, of Florien, died in Shreveport, on
Mar. 22, at 12:55 p.m. Services were held at Union Baptist Church
in Florien, on March 22, 1986, at 10 a.m., with Bro. Jeff
Flenniken, and Bro. C. V. Chance officiating. Burial was in
Florien Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  She is survived by two sons, Joseph E. Berel of Angleton, Tex.,
and Samuel D. Berel of Florien; three daughters, Martha Sibley of
Angleton, Tex., Betty Cobb of Vidor, and Linda Sue Summers of
Jefferson, Tex.; mother, Bertie Williams Spears of Hornbeck; four
brothers, Clarence Spears, and Alford Spears, both of Hornbeck;
Cullen Spears of Leesville, and A. J. Spears of Stonewall; two
sisters, Effie Coco of Shreveport, and Maxine Byrd of
Bakersfield, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; and 23 great
grandchildren.
