Mr. J. Hugh Berel

  Funeral services for Mr. J. Hugh Berel, 72, were held at 10
a.m., Thursday, March 5, at Warren Meadows Chapel. Officiating
were Rev. Wayne Painter, and Rev. Woodrow Wilson. Interment
followed in the Florien Cemetery.

  Mr. Berel died Monday, March 2, at Rapides General Hospital in
Alexandria.

  He is survived by his wife, Hazel Berel of Pineville; one
daughter, Earline Davis and her husband Bobby of Pineville; one
sister, Louise Nugent of Pineville; four grandchildren; five
great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
