Mrs. Alice Berel

  Funeral services were held Sunday, at 2:00 p.m., September 13,
for Mrs. Alice Doll Berel, 88, who died in Many Clinic Friday
night, after a long illness.

  The services were held in the Florien Baptist Church, with the
Rev. Leman Manasco officiating. Burial was in Lewing Cemetery,
with Warren Meadows Funeral Home in charge.

  Survivors are two sons, Jack, and Sam Berel, both of Florien;
four daughters, Mrs. R. E. Williams, and Mrs. Charlie Jackson,
both of Florien, Mrs. Charlie Bonomo of Shreveport, Mrs. Johnnie
Hollis of Vidor, Texas; 20 grandchildren; and 32 great
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Billy Berel, J. L. Berel, Bobbye Williams, J.
Hugh Berel, Dean Berel.
