Billy Berel (Photo)

  Billy Berel, 55, of Zwolle, died Dec. 1, 2002, in Montclair,
Calif. He was an electrician.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Dec. 10, at Memorial
Baptist Church, with interment following at Lewing Cemetery. The
Rev. Ralph Hines officiated.

  Survivors include his mother, Hazel Berel of Zwolle; four sons,
B. J. Berel of York, S. C., Billy Berel of New Mexico, Cory Berel
of Governeur, N. Y., and Sammy Berel of New Mexico; three
daughters, Bo Lynn Lingerfelt and husband Eric of York, S. C.,
Patricia Berel of New Mexico, and Nicole Berel of Governeur, N.
Y.; brother, J. L. Berel and wife Rachel of Center, Texas;
stepbrother, Rayford McComic; two sisters, Sally Williams and
husband Harold, and Pat Berel; stepsister, Cora Anderson, all of
Zwolle; grandson, Devon R. Lingerfelt of York, S. C.; and a host
of nieces, nephews, and friends.

  He was preceded in death by his father, Bo Berel; and infant
daughter, Karen Berel.
