Nancy Jane Burlison

  Nancy Jane Burlison, 83, of Hornbeck, died in the Fraser
Hospital in Many on Tuesday, Nov. 2, at 12:07 a.m., after a short
illness.

  Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church of
Hornbeck on Wednesday, Nov. 3, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Roy
Dowden officiating. Burial was in the Self Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Surviving relatives include four sons, C. D. Burlison of
Hornbeck, Johnny Paul Burlison, and Charles Alfred Burlison of
Shreveport, and Benny Joe Burlison of Austin, Tex.; two
daughters, Lorena Stringer of Hornbeck, and Geneva Anderson of
Stanley; 28 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.

  Mrs. Burlison's body was taken to the church to lie in state
before the funeral services on Wednesday.
