Mr. Benny Joe Burlison, Sr.

  Mr. Benny Joe Burlison, Sr., 52, of Waco, Tex., died in the
Providence Hospital on Sept. 9, 1985, at 4:40 p.m.

  Services were held in the First Baptist Church of Hornbeck, on
Sept. 12, at 10 a.m. Interment was in Self Cemetery. Bro. Charles
Johnson, and Bro. Larry Deakins of Dallas, officiated.

  Active pallbearers were the Honor Guard from England Air Force
Base. Honorary pallbearers included Bud Lewing, James Lewing,
Donnie Paul Lewing, Mike Simpson, Lloyd Burlison, Johnnie
Burlison Jr., Bob Burlison, and Patrick Stringer.

  Surviving relatives include his wife, Mrs. Melba Jean Burlison
of Waco; two sons, Bradley Kent Burlison, and Benny Joe Burlison
Jr., both of Austin, Tex.; four daughters, Brenda Jean Burlison,
and Cynthia Teresa Dunn, both of Austin, Becky Darlene Travis of
Tucson, Ariz., and Jane Kimberly Burlison of Waco; three
brothers, Johnnie Burlison, and C. D. Burlison, both of Hornbeck,
and Charles Burlison of Shreveport; two sisters, Lorena Stringer
of Hornbeck, and Geneva Anderson of Mansfield; and five
grandchildren.

  Services were under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.
