C. D. Burlison

  Funeral services for Mr. C. D. Burlison, 69, were held at 2
p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 29, at First Pentecostal Church of
Hornbeck. Rev. Doyle Carpenter, and Rev. M. C. Green officiated.
Interment followed in Mitchell Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Burlison died on Monday, Jan. 27, at Family Medical Center
in Many.

  He is survived by his wife, Mildred Burlison of Hornbeck; three
sons, Jerry L. Burlison of Nederland, Tex., Michael D. Burlison
of New Llano, La., and David Burlison of Hornbeck; two daughters,
Lynda Eager of Hornbeck, and Sandra Wilson of Shreveport; five
stepsons, David Lynn Welch of DeQuincy, Chuck Welch of Kender,
Kenneth Welch of Pouteau, Okla., and Timothy Welch of Westlake;
one brother, Charles Burlison of Shreveport; two sisters, Lorena
Stringer of Hornbeck, and Geneva Anderson of Stanley; eight
grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
