C. D. Burlison

  Funeral services for Mr. C. D. Burlison, 69, were held at 2
p.m., Wednesday, January 29, at First Pentecostal Church of
Hornbeck. Interment followed at Mitchell Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Doyle Carpenter,
and Rev. M. C. Green officiated over the services.

  Mr. Burlison died Monday, January 27, at Family Medical and
Surgical Center of Many.

  He is survived by his wife, Mildred Burlison of Hornbeck; three
sons, Jerry L. Burlison of Nederland, Texas, Michael D. Burlison
of New Llano, and David Burlison of Hornbeck; two daughters,
Lyndia Eager of Hornbeck, and Sandra Wilson of Shreveport; five
stepsons, David Lynn Welch of DeQuincy, Church Welch of Kinder,
Kenneth Welch of Orange, Texas, Ricky Welch of Pouteau, Oklahoma,
and Timothy Welch of Westlake; one brother, Charles Burlison of
Shreveport; two sisters, Lorena Stringer of Hornbeck, and Geneva
Anderson of Stanley; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces,
nephews, and friends.
