Brown were held in the District Building in Many at 11 p.m., Oct 24, with the Rev. Cooper David of the Mt. Zion and West Texas Associaton officiating. The Rev. Brown was the pastor of the Bright Morning Star Baptist Church, Sand Ridge Baptist Church, and also the President of the 12th District Association. Surviving relatives include his wife, Mrs. Annie Mae Grace Brown of Florien; four sons, Edward B., and Robert E. of Houston, Lee Jeffray of Los angeles, and Sp-6 Arthur L. Brown of Okinawa; four daughters, Mrs. Amanda Gaston of Chicago, Miss Katherine Brown of Los Angeles, Mrs. Vera Scott, and Miss Francis Brown of Houston; 18 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Also three brothers, Tom Brown of Baton Rouge, Rod Brown of Toledo, and Bennie Brown of New Orleans; one sister, Mrs. Amanda Wilcox of Baton rouge; and a host of relatives and friends.
