Clifton Brown

  Funeral services for Clifton Brown, 61, of Florien, were held Wednesday,
Jan 13, at 2 p.m., in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Johnny
Rhodes officiating. Burial was in the Clearwater Cemetery, under the direction
of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Masonic and Military rites were held at
graveside.

  The surviving relatives include his wife, Mrs. Clifton Brown of Florien, two
brothers, Gus Brown of Hodge, and Dallas Brown of Denver, Colo., and one
sister, Mrs. Nona Barrett of Beaumont.

  Mr. Brown died in the VA hospital in Shreveport on Monday, Jan. 11, after an
extended illness.
