Ive L. Brown

  Ive L. Brown, 69, a native of Zwolle, died in Shreveport on
Thursday, Sept. 18, at 7 p.m., following an extended illness.

  Brown is survived by his widow, Mrs. Hazel Parrott Brown; and
one aunt Mrs. Beatrice Scherry of Oakhurst, Texas.

  Brown was a member of the American Legion, the Disabled
Veterans, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the First United
Methodist Church of Zwolle.

  Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., on Sunday, Sept. 21, at
the Zwolle First United Methodist Church. Officiating were the
Rev. Austin Smith, and the Rev. Robert Ledden.

  Burial was in the Zwolle Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were J. O. Kimbrell, Carl Willis, Marvin Smith, K.
C. Peterson, B. B. Jones, Clarence R. Neal, Guy Brown, and Homer
Clifton.
