The Sabine Index - Ida Velda Brown

  10 Aug 1967 - Mrs. Ida Velda Brown, 50, of Many died Friday,
July 28, in the Sabine Clinic and Hospital at Zwolle after an
extended illness.

  Funeral services were conducted Sunday, July 30, at the
Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Rev. Earl Marr officiating.
Interment was in the Ebenezer Cemetery under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include her husband, Wayne Brown of Many, one
son, Allen Brown of Many, one daughter, Mrs. Glenn Hawkins of
Lafayette; three brothers, Howard Hopkins of Many, Lawrence
Hopkins of Midland, Tex., and Glenn Hopkins of Groves, Tex., two
sisters, Mrs. Jimmie DeBose of Many and Mrs. T. E. Duggan of
Grand Parrie, Tex., and one grandchild.

  Pallbearers were John Pickett, Jr., David Braud, Tom
Langton, Oran Brown and Doyle Arrington.
