The Sabine Index - Mrs. Nannie Brown

  11 Aug 1944 - Last rites for Mrs. Nannie Brown, age 66 years,
were held last Tuesday at Oak Grove Baptist church at 4 p.m. Rev.
J. Jones officiated. Interment was in Oak Grove cemetery,
Massingill funeral home officiated.

  Surviving are: one son, V. B. Brown of Mitchell, three
daughters, Mrs. W. C. Moses of Kirbyville, Texas, Mrs. T. M.
Mayes of Port Arthur, Texas, Mrs. Gene King of Monroe; two
sisters, Mrs. Ella Patterson of Menhold, Miss., Mrs. Mattie
Fields of Sabinetown, Texas; two brothers, A. J. and J. G.
Burkett of Converse; 10 grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were: T. M. Mayes, W. C. Moss, Gene King,
N. L., E. W. and J. J. Burkett.
