Ruby O. Brown

  Mrs. Ruby O. Brown, 65, of Converse, died Monday, May 17.

  Services were at 2 p.m., Tuesday, in the Drewett Memorial
Chapel, with the Rev. F. L. Divens officiating. burial was in the
Oak Grove Cemetery.

  Survivors include her husband, Jess Brown; three sons, Donnie
Brown of Shreveport, W. C. Ramie of Lake Charles, and Jess Ramie
of Dallas, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Elois Van Vigne of
Shreveport, and Mrs. James Hudson of Sulphur; six brothers,
Garthel Burr, and Gathel Burr, both of Mansfield, Dewey Burr, and
Medford Burr, both of Shreveport; Burton Burr of Belmont, and
Walter Burr of Lake Charles; six sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Bennett
of Mansfield, Mrs. Trudy Rogers of Grand Cane, Mrs. Thelma
Phillips, Mrs. Ruth George, and Mrs. Marie Ante, all of
Shreveport, and Mrs. Louvella Liles of Baton Rouge; and 14
grandchildren.
