Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Sept. 13, in the Spring Ridge Baptist Church, with the Rev. Willis Greer officiating. He was assisted by the Rev. Leroy Chance. Burial was in the Spring Ridge Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Survivors are one son, Harmon "Joe" Brown of Pleasant Hill; seven daughters, Mrs. Hazel Rainer of Conway, Ark., Mrs. Eloyce Durr, and Mrs. Mattie Townsend, both of Marthaville, Mrs. Diana Steele of Jackson, Mrs. Merle Springer of Many, and Miss Sybil Brown, and Miss Mary Brown, both of Pleasant Hill; her mother, Mrs. Martha Miller of Many; two sisters, Mrs. Alma Simmons, and Mrs. Ruby Dickens, both of Many; three brothers, H. W. Miller, and Ted Miller, both of Many, and R. E. Miller of Bay Cliff, Tex.; and 11 grandchildren.
