Herman Dewey Brown

  Herman Dewey Brown, 67, of Spring Ridge, died Monday, Oct. 9.
Mr. Brown suffered a massive heart attack while driving in the
Mt. Zion community.

  Services were held Tuesday, at 4 p.m., in the Drewett Chapel in
Mansfield, with the Rev. G. C. Berly officiating. Burial was in
Spring Ridge Cemetery.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. H. D. Brown, Printis Brown,
Lathan Brown, and Freddie Brown, all of Shreveport; two
daughters, Theretha Brown of Shreveport, and Brenda Lyddy of
Many; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

  Pallbearers were Troyce Brown of Shreveport, Bobby Terrell of
Pleasant Hill, his sons, Prentis, Lathan, and Freddie, and his
son-in-law, Michael Lyddy.
