Talmadge Max Brown

  Talmadge Max Brown, 61, of Converse, died Thursday, August 31,
in a Houston hospital, after a brief illness.

  Services were held at 2 p.m., in the Mitchell Methodist Church
in Mitchell, with the Rev. Percy Tibbett officiating. Burial was
in Oak Grove Cemetery in Mitchell, under the direction of the
Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Marjorie Williams Brown of
Converse; three daughters, Mrs. Edna D. Duggan of Houston, Mrs.
Cheryl Patrick of Converse, and Mrs. Linda Herring of Lake
Charles; one son, Tommy Brown of Converse; his mother, Mrs. Cora
Noel of Converse; one brother, Alvin L. Brown of Anaheim, Calif.;
one sister, Mrs. Doris McDonald of Converse; and three
grandchildren.
