Talley D. Brown

  Funeral services for Talley D. Brown, 90, of Shreveport, were
held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 7, in the Memorial Chapel of
Drewett Funeral Home, with the Rev. Floyd Davis officiating.
Burial followed in the Springridge Cemetery near Pleasant Hill.

  The Pleasant Hill native died Sunday, Aug. 5, after a sudden
illness. Mr. Brown was a retired farmer, and had lived in
Shreveport for the past eight years.

  Survivors include his daughter, Faye Knight of Shreveport; two
sons, E. L. Brown of Grayson, and Thomas Brown of Alexandria;
three brothers, W. B. Brown of Shreveport, Gene Brown of Vivian,
and Alton Brown of Haynesville; six grandchildren, and nine great
grandchildren.
