Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Maudie Lee Brown; three sons, James F. Brown of Fountain Valley, Calif., Olin Dean Brown of Mansfield, and Leone Brown of Sherwood, Ark.; three daughters, Opal Bernice Sigler of Bossier City, Virginia Elaine Pollard of Haughton, and Kathryn Walsworth of Albany, Tex.; two brothers, W. H. Brown of Beaumont, Tex., and Elmer Brown of Silsbee, Tex.; four sisters, Maggie Gildner of Bisby, Ark., Judy Sink of Fort Worth, Tex., Lucille Craig of Waynesboro, Va., and Elizabeth Curl of Zwolle; 18 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held in the Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel on Saturday, May 3, at 2 p.m. The Rev. John D. Riggle officiated. Burial was in the Converse Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
