Nettie Nelson Brown

  Nettie Nelson Brown, 88, died Friday, Oct. 17, at Fraser
Hospital South in Many.

  Mrs. Brown is survived by 2 sisters, Mrs. Bertha Speight of
Many, and Miss Emma Nelson of Florien; 2 brothers, C. W. Nelson,
and J. W. Nelson, both of Florien; 4 step daughters, Maggie Brown
Evans of Elizabeth Town, Ky.; Georgie Brown Nelson of Florien;
Roxie Brown Berryman of Hemphill, ? Brown of Ft. Walton Beach,
Fla., and numerous nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services were held in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Burial was
held in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, with Bro. Elcie Walker
officiating, on Sunday, Oct. 19.
