All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Hazel Parrott Brown Services for Mrs. Hazel Parrott Brown, 75, of Shreveport, were held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 6, in the First United Methodist Church of Zwolle, with the Rev. Raymond DeLaughter officiating. Burial was in the Zwolle Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Mrs. Brown died at 11:20 a.m., on May 3, 1983, at the Highland Hospital in Shreveport, La., after a lengthy illness. She was born in Zwolle, and was a resident of Shreveport for the past 25 years, and was a nurse at the L. S. U. Medical Center in Shreveport for 17 years, before retiring. Mrs. Brown was a member of the First United Methodist Church, and Chapter 200 of the Eastern Star, both of Zwolle. She was also a member of Sabine Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, L. S. D. A. R. Survivors include her brother, Randell H. Parrott of Zwolle; one nephew, Maloy H. Pentecost Sr.; and a niece, Ann Parrott Patterson, both of Shreveport. Pallbearers were K. C. Peterson, Clyde D. Patterson, Maloy H. Pentecost Sr., Maloy H. Pentecost Jr., Wesley Webb, and Carl Willis. The family requests memorials be made to the American Heart Fund.
